    Congratulations to Emma and Elyssa who were both awarded engineering scholarships during a competition for the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering Mentor Program of Baltimore. Emma will be heading to the University of Delaware and Elyssa is headed to UMBC. Congrats, ladies!

    Danielle Edwards

    Danielle Edwards, a 2011 Saint Ursula School Graduate, and current McDonogh sophomore, was named Varsity Winter All-Metro for Girls Basketball.  Danielle averaged 13 points, four assists, 5.5 steals, and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2-to-1.  Way to go!

    Zachary Fischer

    Zachary Fischer, Archbishop Curley Class of 2015, was inducted into the National Honor Society on January 30, 2014.

    Kelly Williams

    Congratulations to Kelly Williams on her acceptance into the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Summer Leadership Course. Kelly is currently a student at the Institute of Notre Dame.




    Nicholas Ray

    Nicholas will be attending Virginia Commonwealth University in the Fall. He plans to major in Information Systems and minor in Music (piano). Nicholas was the 2014 recipient of the Arch Curley Woody Herman Jazz Award.

    Kirsten was accepted to and received an athletic scholarship to Shepherd University in WV, a Division II school for NCAA. She will be playing softball for the RAMS!

     Alex Filsinger

    Alex Filsinger received a $22,000 a year scholarship to Notre Dame of Md. University and also, received their English scholarship. She received the journalism award from the Institute of Notre Dame.

    Taylor Heath

    Saint Ursula School would like to congratulate Taylor Heath on her admission and substantial scholarship to George Washington University.

    Daniel Villarreal,  received a four year, full tuition scholarship to Wheeling Jesuit University! Daniel is currently a student at Loyola Blakefield, where he received the prestigious Dan McNeal award.

    Gabriel Ray

    May 2014, Gabriel Ray received his BA in Italian Literature and Linguistics from Columbia University with honors. While at Columbia he received a FLAS fellowship to study in Romania during the Summer 2012 and he completed an internship in Italy, Fall 2013, teaching English as a second language. Gabe plans to teach while he obtains his TESL certification over the summer.

    Chelsea Prosser

    On April 13, 2014, at Alvernia University’s Honors Convocation, Chelsea Prosser received the Henry Miller Award for Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society and the Academic Excellence Award in Computer Information Systems for the highest overall GPA in her major. She will be graduating from Alvernia on May 10, 2014 with Cum Laude Honors.

    Logan Pasqual

    Logan graduated from Stevenson University, in December 2013, after completing an international internship in South Africa, in the spring of 2012.  He graduated with a BS in criminal justice, with cum laude honors.  Logan will begin a job as a Victim/Witness Notification Specialist in the Circuit and District Court Houses in Towson, MD.  He will continue taking classes for his Master’s Degree in Legal Studies this summer.

    Nancy (Gemma) Trail

    Nancy has been married for 43 years, and has one daughter and two granddaughters.  She lives in Florida for 6 1/2 months and Md for 5 1/2 months.  She is still friends with at least one classmate from St. Ursula School.
