PowerSchool, an internet-base student information system (SIS), tracks a wealth of student information, including grades, attendance records, school schedules, class schedules, and conduct. School administrators and teachers enter this data into PowerSchool where it is stored. The entire system can be accessed by those who are authorized anywhere at anytime in the world through an internet browser.

Parent Access

Parent Access at St. Ursula School is available to parents in Grades 3-8.  To receive your child's ID and password, please do the following:
1.  Print and read the Parent Access Handout.  Parent Access Handout

2.  View the PowerPoint.  Parent Access PowerPoint

3.  Print and sign the Disclaimer.  Disclaimer

4.  Send the Disclaimer to school Attention:  Mrs. Abrams

After your signed Disclaimer is received, the password and ID will then be sent to you through your child.  Be sure to check your child's folder.

Below is a list of frequently asked questions and problems.  Please refer to the Parent Access Handout for a detailed explanation of Parent Access and Policies for St. Ursula School.
Who should send in the Disclaimer?
Parents/Guardians who have not attended previous Parent Access Meetings (2004-2005) at St. Ursula should view the PowerPoint, download the handout, and send in the disclaimer to Mrs. Abrams.
 
I attended a Parent Access Meeting and signed a disclaimer, but now have a student in third grade.  How do I receive the code?
Parents/Guardians who have signed a disclaimer for an older child in the family and would like a Password and ID code for their third grader should send a note to Mrs. Abrams.  Be sure to include your child's name.
 
I have a code from last year.  Do I need to acquire a new code for this school year?
The codes remain the same from year to year.  There are no changes to the code.  If you lost your code, just send a note to Mrs. Abrams and she will provide you with the code.
 
  I sent a note to my child's teacher requesting a code, but did not receive it. 
Parents/Guardians are required to send the signed disclaimer to Mrs. Abrams in order to receive the code.
 I signed and sent in the disclaimer, but did not receive the code.
If the disclaimer is sent directly to Mrs. Abrams' attention, IDs and Passwords are sent within a day or two from receiving them at school.  Please ask your child if they received an envelope.  It may have gotten misplaced. 
 
 I signed and faxed in the disclaimer, but did not receive the code.
Unless the signed disclaimer is addressed directly to Mrs. Abrams, there is no guarantee she will receive it in a timely fashion.
I signed and returned the disclaimer, but I have misplaced the code.  How do I obtain the code?
Parents/Guardians who would like to receive their code again should send a note to Mrs.. Abrams.  Be sure to include your child's name.
 
My child is new to the school.  I attended a Parent Access Meeting and signed a disclaimer at my child's former school.
In order to become familiar with the Parent Access Polices of St. Ursula School, Parents/Guardians with students new to the school are required to view the PowerPoint, download and read the Handout, sign and return the Disclaimer. Students new to the school will be assigned a new ID and Password.
 
When I try to log on, I get this message:  Invalid Username and Password!
Logging in difficulties could be the result of the following:

  Incorrect Web address - be sure to you are using http://baltimore7.powerschool.com as the Web address.

  Incorrect ID or Password - the code is case sensitive - be sure your are using capital letters.  Be sure it is a zero or a capital O, or the number one and not the letter I. 

  Parent/Guardians who are not current with tuition or other fess will be locked out of Parent Access.

  At the end of each Trimester, Parent Access will be turned off in order to allow teachers to submit final grades.  Parent Access will be turned back on when Progress Reports are distributed.  Parents will be notified of the turn on/turn off dates on the Announcement Page; http://stursula.org

  If you continue to have problems logging in, contact Mrs. Abrams in writing.
                                                                    

I have a question concerning my child's attendance or grade.
Any questions concerning attendance or grades should be directed to your child's teacher in writing.
 
  How often are grades updated? 
The grade updating policy for St. Ursula states that teachers will submit grades at least twice a month.  Art, Music, P.E. and Computer teachers will submit final grades only.
 
I am not sure what the Attendance Codes mean.
