Letters regarding Standardized Testing were sent home to all students in grades 3-8.  Please read the letter and return the tear off so I know the letter got to the proper person(s).

We are saddened by the news that 13 schools in the archdiocese will close in June.  I ask you to keep all who are affected by these decisions in your prayers. Over the years, we have been blessed with a strong School Board and supportive parents who have kept SUS viable.  Our enrollment has been over 650 for 16 years,  our buildings have been kept up, our finances are sound and our Catholic Identity is visible.

While we pray for all who are affected by these  decisions, we welcome those who wish to join the St. Ursula School Community.

 

 

• My religious community, SNDdeNamur, has a mission with 2 sisters in Haiti There is information about their work with the many refugees who are coming to them. The site is www.sndden.org. There is a direct link for contributions to the fund for the people of Haiti.

• If you shop at Giant, we ask you to re-register. Our Giant number is 01634. You will need to go to www.giantfoods/a+bonusbucks.com to re-register. The new program started on October 9, 2009. Presently, we have 72 families registered for the SUS account and we believe more than that number shop there at least for the sales. This is another way of helping tuition costs stay lower. We have made $484 with the 68 families.
• If you are shopping for school supplies at Office Depot, don't forget to use our school ID #70047107. We receive 5% back from the store.
• If you wish you can designate United Way Funds for St. Ursula Extended Day. Our number is 3596.
