Mrs. Rutledge (KB)

Mrs. Rutledge

Pre-K Teacher B.S., Child Development, Lynchburg College Teaching at St. Ursula School since 2009

I have always known I wanted to be a teacher. Growing up I enjoyed helping my mom in her classroom. I attended Catholic school from kindergarten through 12th grade so when it came time to choose my career path I knew being a teacher in a Catholic school was where I belonged.

Below is a copy of the letter I am sending home today about Catholic Schools Week.

    January 2018

Below you will find a schedule for KB visitation during Catholic Schools Week (January 29-Feb. 1). The classroom is open to visitors from 8:30-10:35am on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.   Friday, Feb. 1 is Spirit Day.  It is an out of uniform day where students are asked to wear our school colors (blue & gold).  Friday is a half day (12:10 dismissal)

Please use this schedule to help make a decision as to which day you would like to visit. Please remember that we have a lot of parents that would like to visit and not enough room for everyone at the same time so please don’t plan to come every day for the whole time. We want to make sure as many parents as possible are able to come.  You do not need to let me know which day you are visiting. I will try to stick to the schedule as closely as possible, but sometimes the “unexpected” can throw off our timing. The children and I look forward to having you come and visit during Catholic Schools Week.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Rutledge
