Reminder- Friday, November 8th is a 12:10 dismissal. Extended Day is open, for those who are registered, until 6:00 p.m. For those who signed up we will have parent/teacher conferences. Please park on the back half of St. John’s lot, closest to the pastor’s house and use the playground doors to enter the building.
Lost and Found – Our Lost and Found is overflowing with unclaimed items. If your child has misplaced anything, please consider looking in the Lost and Found after your conference with the teacher. It is located on the first floor, outside the lunchroom and before you get to the PK classrooms.
Thanksgiving Food Drive for St. Vincent de Paul - Student Council is sponsoring a Thanksgiving food drive for our St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. Each grade is asked to contribute a specific item as listed in the attached flyer. The food drive will run from November 1-15. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
Family Bingo – On November 15th the PHSA will be sponsoring a Family Bingo night. Please use this Pay-It link for details and payment. https://payit.nelnet.net/form/ipOF2cM3. The deadline for ordering tickets is November 11.
Fathers’ Club Meeting – Join us on Sunday, November 10 for our next meeting. The meeting starts at 7:30 in the school auditorium.
Grandparents’ Day – Grandparents’ Day will take place on Monday, November 25. The visitation schedule can be found on the attached letter. We ask that you complete the tear-off on the attached letter and return it to your child’s teacher. Please share with your grandparents that there are stairs.
Rainbows - Rainbows is a group for children who are living in single-parent families, step-families, or families going through painful transitions such as death or deployment. If you are interested in having your child(ren) participate, please see the attached letter for details and complete the permission form.
Extended Day – Due to the ongoing HVAC project there will be no Extended Day on Friday, December 20. All students will dismiss at 12:10 p.m.
FACTS Grant and Aid – The 2020-2021 FACTS Grant and Aid application is open for ALL Archdiocese of Baltimore schools now through Saturday, February 29, 2020. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Yearbook Orders – Yearbooks are on sale now. All orders will be processed on-line. Save $10.00 if you order prior to November 30th. To order, visit www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter the school code: 8341. See the attached flyer for additional details and the ordering link.
8th Grade Yearbook Ads - If your child is in 8th grade and you wish to purchase an ad, please see the attached flyer for details. All ads will be accepted on a space available basis so be sure to get your ad in early. No ads will be accepted after January 13, 2020.
8th Grade Through the Years Photos - The Yearbook Committee is looking for pictures of the 8th grade from their time at SUS. Please see the attached flyer for instructions on how to submit photos. Deadline is January 17, 2020.
